Under the founding direction of Pastor Luther Eatman, Bridge of Hope was intentionally established in a community that has been plagued with generations of poverty, alcoholism, drug addiction, prostitution, domestic violence and homelessness. Because of those we minister to, our church, transitional housing, recovery programs, full time staff, and our food and clothing pantry are almost completely dependent upon outside ministry partners such as yourself.
We are 5013C and upon your request will send you a letter confirming your tax-exempt donation.
- Financial Donations
We are always seeking new ministry partners. Please consider partnering with this ministry through monthly support or a one-time donation. Fifty percent of all financial support the church receives will go towards Healing House ministry, one fourth will go towards the church, and one fourth will be used for enabling our full-time staff to continue devoting all of their time to this ministry.
- Vans, Trucks, Cars & Enclosed Trailers
We are currently in need of vans or cars for our transitional housing and for the church. We lack enough transportation to get our residents to church, to weekly drug and alcohol treatments, court dates, parole officer check in and so forth. We also currently do not have a van to pick up those in our community who are seeking for a ride to church. We are need of trucks for picking up our weekly food and supplies for the church, our housing and also our weekly food and clothing pantry that is open to the public. Additionally two enclosed trailers are needed for picking up supplies and furniture.
- Housing
We are in need of more houses and apartments to become new transitional living housing for more people to come off the streets and into our drug and alcohol recovery program. We turn people away every day due to lack of housing. Many addicts are homeless or in bad / dangerous situations prior to coming into our program.
- Sponsor a Transitional House
Choose a Transitional House that you would like to sponsor. Our transitional houses are a home to those who are in our program. We currently have four houses for women, three houses for men, and one apartment for women and their children. We invite you to come and meet those currently in our program. You can sponsor on a month to month basis, six month basis, or yearly commitment.
- Computers
We currently need computer equipment for the Church, for the Healing House, and for the Christian Recovery Fellowship Hall.
- Worship Equipment & Technology
The church and Christian Recovery Fellowship Hall are in need of a projector, two projection screens, two sound boards, four wireless microphones, speakers, an amp, and any other helpful worship equipment.
- Office Technology
The church is currently in need of a color laser printer that has a scanner on top. We also need a multi disc DVD duplicator. A multi disc CD duplicator would also be helpful.
- Food & Clothing
We are currently in need of winter clothes and regular clothes such as pants, sweaters, socks, underwear, shoes, etc. We are currently able to serve between 20-40 people each week at our food and clothing pantry. This is dependent on the supplies we currently have. There are many more people in need, thus we would like to see this amount increased.
- Toiletries
Those within our transitional housing are in need of toiletries such as shampoos, soaps, feminine products, tooth paste, shaving cream, razors, etc. The church and Healing House are also in need of toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates etc.
- Kitchen Utensils and Appliances
The church kitchen currently needs utensils, serving utensils, and serving dishes. We are always in need of more kitchen supplies for our transitional housing.
- Storage Shed
The church currently needs a storage shed
- Repave Parking Lot
The church parking lot is in dire need of repair
- Snow Removal
